Bollards and barriers are a simple, practical and cost-effective way to deter traffic from entering spaces where it is not wanted.  In an urban setting, bollards have an important safety function in providing impact protection and security for buildings and open spaces; they also help to manage traffic flow by controlling the movement of vehicles and pedestrians. Away from busy streets, bollards also have an important part to play in protecting the natural environment; for example, bollards erected around the perimeter of a public park can:

Site Systems bollards are suitable for either surface mounting or mounting in-ground in locations where additional traffic resistance and strength is called for.  For locations where temporary barriers and bollards are required, retractable and removable options are available.  For more versatile usability, the bollards’ design incorporates fixing apertures so that groups of bollards can be linked.
